David Wexler (aka Dr. Strangeloop) is a live AV performance artist most well known for his work as Flying Lotus’ live-video counterpart for his shows. He is signed to Lotus’ essential imprint, Brainfeeder, and has performed visual sets for such artists as Kode 9, Hudson Mohawk, Gaslamp Killer, Mary Anne Hobbs, Edit, 16bit, Emalkay, Dorian Concept, Skream, Nosaj Thing, Samiyam, N-Type, Ravi Coltrane, Martyn, Tipper, and that’s just scratching the surface.
Strangeloop’s award-winning experimental films and audio-visual sets have been showcased at events such as Telluride Film Festival, The Amsterdam Film Experience, Turner Classic Movies, and on the BBC. His live audio-visual performances have been featured at events like the Brainfeeder Sessions: Sonic Warfare Edition with Kode 9, The Anne Arbor Film Festival, Cosmogramma Release, and much more.
