New Forms Festival returned in September 2019 with a program including Aurora Halal, Afrodeutsche, Giant Swan, DJ Marcelle, Kampire, LSDXOXO, Minimal Violence, Debit, Lafawndah and Sherelle. The festival also provided a week-long residency with New York label PTP, featuring Dis Fig, Dreamcrusher and Via App, among others.

The five-day event, taking place from September 25th to 29th at multiple venues around the Railtown neighborhood, was assembled by a new team of curators, including VIA Festival cofounder Lauren Goshinski, Ascetic House label head JS Aurelius and TUF cofounder Ceci Corsano-Leopizzi, AKA CCL.

The festival's main venues were the Japanese Language School & Hall as well as The Pace, with smaller events happening at The Fox, Red Gate, Deep Blue, Open Studios and James Black Gallery. Closing the festival was was a block party with queer collectives Public Disco, Honcho and Directory LA.
